The picture of Dez is distorted due to bad lighting therefore none of the Devildriver photos came out. But Erika feels she captured his "aura" . In whatever case it does make for a cool pix!    \m/
When Erika & I got the passes to this show they gave us a hard time. We were wondering why but then the DevilDriver tour manager named Bear helped us out. Anyway, the show ended up being a learning experience.

What was DevilDriver going to sound like? Coal Chamber or something different?

DevilDriver came out with a bang with a couple of the tunes off their debut album. Sounded nothing like Coal Chamber. More like lead singer, Dez Fafara, was trying to escape CC like they never existed.

I had heard a couple of songs, one in particular called "The Mountain". I truly thought the band was great, however, Dez started talking about a guy in the front row. He also alluded to the controversy with Morgan Rose of Sevendust without mentioning the name. It's not that I feel Dez has no right to his opinion, but, I feel that he could have left the controversy at home. Everyone knows about the little garbage with Morgan but don't ruin a great show airing dirty laundry.
