BIO

Let’s see what can I say about myself….I’m originally from the East Coast, moved around with my family from New York, to New Jersey, back to New York, to Pennsylvania and then trekked on over to California and have been here ever since. I currently live in the San Francisco/Bay Area with my husband that I’ve been with for 5 years now (he’s a great guy to have to put up with someone like me!)

I’ve been a lover and dedicated follower of the metal scene since I was 8 years old (don’t ask me how old I am now or I’ll have to hurt you), it started with classics Led Zeppelin (I’m not going to argue whether Zeppelin was metal or not, back then they were considered hard rock/heavy metal), Black Sabbath, Van Halen, AC/DC then progressed to Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio and more. My older brother would make tapes for so I could listen to the music I loved constantly (hey, I was 8 and my allowance sucked, ok?) I did delve a little in the glam scene when I was older, I’m ashamed to admit, but then I discovered bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Motörhead, and it was on like Donkey Kong.

I’ve been following the scene ever since; some of my favorite bands are Lacuna Coil, 1349, Marduk, Mayhem,  Nightwish, Slayer, Obituary, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir, My Ruin, Otep, Dark Funeral, Celtic Frost, Arch Enemy and the list goes on and on.

I’ve always loved to write and have done so as a hobby since I was a little kid, I feel honored to write for FourteenG and look forward to the opportunity to grow in this field!

SPEED ROUND QUESTIONS: (Not just for the Artists)

Live or Dead, if you could host a dinner party, who would you invite: Carl Sagan, Tim Burton, Albert Einstein, Anne Rice, Stephen King, and either Chuck Schuldiner, or Dimebag Darrell.

Music: Black, death, thrash, melodic, and power metal, some industrial and gothic,  some classic hard rock from the 70's and 80's.

Color of Kitchen Plates: They're cream with a weird black and tan pattern on them, I don't know what the pattern is but they're better than what my husband had. He used to have plates with little ducks on them..........and they had bonnets on their heads.........seriously...not sure what the thinking was there...

Have they made dwarf tossing a sport yet?

Drinks: Monster energy drinks, red bull, mocha frappucinos (bottled), yeah I'm a caffeine addict!

Ringtone(s) on Cellphone: I used to have Ministry's "Just one Fix" and the theme from "Halloween" but I broke my phone and have this shitty one in it's place so I haven't bothered until I get a new phone.
