BIO

I could start this biography off like a typical biography, but I choose not to. Instead, you'll be treated to a brief history of time, space, and...eh, who am I kiddin'? My name is Josh and I hail from the armpit of the south, also known as Virginia. When I was 11 years old, I purchased an album that would lead me into the grand halls of the metal kings. That album was Metallica's "Ride The Lightning". After that, I went through a brief phase of musical adventures that I'm ashamed to admit involved small men with serious issues jumping around and screaming about "Doing it all for the nookie."

However, the band that truly saved my life musically was Pantera. At 13, after the above-mentioned travesty of musical proportions, my mother purchased a copy of "The Great Southern Trendkill" for my birthday and I've never been the same since then. It unlocked the door for death, black, thrash, doom, grind, and every other metal genre I listen to. R.I.P. Dime.

Aside from that, I've been writing for almost 6 years for different zines and e-zines, including White Trash Devil, Global Domination, FA-Q, Live 4 Metal, and the online edition of Metal Maniacs. So far, I dig everything about Fourteen G and the awesome-as-fark ladies who run it. Cheers to you all, and I hope to make your metal dreams come true...as long as they don't involve Rob Halford and coconut oil...that is all.
