Cradle Of Filth
TON and Cradle played at the Rivera on Nov 22nd and I must say I am more than a little disappointed in the crowd for TON.

The crowd was very lifeless only somewhat cheering for Pete and the boys who seem to reflect just how lifeless the crowd was.

I've seen TON a number of times and this had to be the most flat show that I've seen them do.

It had it's moments with hits like "Black No One", "Christian Woman", and "Love You To Death", but for the most part the crowd totally disrespected a band who is one of the great pioneers of metal, nevermind that they preceeded Cradle.

The members, clad in orange prison-like jumpsuits, seemed very aware of the crowd being totally dead.
There were many TON fans of the more mature variety like me and my counterparts, however, the goth-kids really didn't show the grandfathers of goth-metal any respect.
CRADLE OF FILTH
Cradle did put on a great show though it was clear that the crowd wanted to see the made up monsters from Britain. On stage, Dani and his mates had two gargoyles as well as a young lady hanging from the ceiling with some kind of ribbon-like rope.
The crowd, even though cheering for them when they completed a tune, seemed almost deadlike still. I guess I'm too used to seeing the crowd whipped into a frenzy that i'm not used to this goth-kids and their "I'm a goth and I can't show any emotions" kind of attitude.

I've seen Cradle before and I must say at that show at HOB with Nile and God Forbid they had a much better reception!
