Karma: Here's a quick round of Speed Questions for you.

Anthony: Okay

Karma: What's your mantra?

Anthony: [eyes light up] I have a bunch of them too!  I was thinking about some earlier when I was walking around today.  [smiles]  I was like,
"What's a good saying?" [pauses]  You put me on the spot!

Karma: Sorry!!  [we both laugh]

Anthony: Basically you get what you give really.  I mean if you want something, you got to be able to…if you don't put the work into getting something you're only going to get what you put into something.  That's kind of always been my mantra for life, try to give it your all and hopefully you'll get back just as much as you put into it.

Karma: Spiritual or religious?

Anthony: Nah!  I don't think so!!

Karma: What's the one word that sums up your personality?

Anthony: I don't know, some people may just say arrogant but I don't think I am!  I don't know, heartfelt?!

Karma: Oh, okay.  Which CD’s/Movies did you bring on tour this go round?

Anthony: I didn't bring any CD's actually.  [laughs]  I'm just not one of those that cares about that stuff.  Movies?  I didn't bring any either BUT we have some movies though.  We have
Saw, which was terrible!

Karma: Really, why?

Anthony: Yeah!!  It was horrible!  The storyline was cool but the acting was horrible and the casting was horrible! But I had movies last time.  You wanna know which movies I had last time?  [laughs]

Karma: [smiles] Sure!  [laughs]

Anthony: We had
JFK, Bowling For Columbine, Death Row: Uncut, we had another good one…Casino

Karma: You had some good long movies!

Anthony: You got to for those long drives, you got to kill time somehow so you just pop in movies.

Karma: Top 5 favorite movies?

Anthony: I'm not a big movie guy but I like
When A Man Loves A Woman, which is probably my favorite movie of all-time.  The movie makes me cry.  The Lion King

Karma: [give look of sheer disbelief, boisterous laughter ensues] Okay!

Anthony: Hold up, I may be able to think of some…  I know there's more movies I can think of… But those 2 are my favorites. I mean I'm not a big movie guy but all those guys in my band LOVE movies and they can quote and recite movies.  They'll be like,
"Oh, did you see this movie" and I'll be like, "No!" Like I actually just saw The Godfather last year!

Karma: No way!  [laughs]

Anthony: I never went to the movies, I hate the movies!  I'd rather read a book!!

Karma: So what was the last book you read?

Anthony:
A People's History of The United States and I'm reading 1984.  All my books are those kinds of books.  It's all I ever think about, I'm crazy like that!

Karma: Favorite color?

Anthony: I have a favorite color combination

Karma: Okay, what's that?

Anthony: Black, red, and white.  Almost every thing I have has those colors in it.  For the exception of what I'm wearing tonight [clad in beige].  But whenever I open my closet it always has black and red, white…

Karma: Best memory?

Anthony: I don't know!  [laughs]  Like ever?  In general?

Karma: Yes

Anthony: I don't really have anything that stands out in my head [laughs]

Karma: [laughs] Okay then.

Anthony: Sorry!

Karma: Why are you apologizing?

Anthony: You're gonna and you'll probably say,
"This guy's a jerk!"

Karma: Uh, NO!!  See you're being real!  Fill in the blank, I feel like ________ tonight.

Anthony: I feel tired!  I feel like a tired bum tonight!  [we both chuckle]

Karma: Introvert or extrovert?

Anthony: I think I'm an introvert

Karma: What kind of cologne do you wear?

Anthony: I don't really wear cologne.

Karma: Bedroom: hardwood floors or rug?

Anthony: Rug

Karma: Nicknames your friends would give you on the fly, off the tops of their heads?

Anthony: Asshole!  [we both break out in hysterical laughter]  Big lips, big lipped bastard!  They always make fun of me somehow!

Karma: What color are your kitchen plates?

Anthony: Red

Karma: Ringtone(s) on your cellphone?

Anthony: I don't have any ringtones

Karma: First car ever owned?

Anthony: A Plymouth Voyager

Karma: What color?

Anthony: Grey, I got it so that we could put all of our equipment in and play shows

Karma: First job?

Anthony: This really!  Well I worked in a pizzeria when I was 12 sweeping up and stuff.  But other than that, this has been the main thing.

Karma: If you could travel the spans of time: which era would you visit?

Anthony: I'd say the 50's but it might be kind of cool to be here when America was first building into what it is now like in the early 1900's when NYC was just starting…I think that would be a cool time to see things happen.  But the 50's seem pretty cool because you could just go into the 60's and the 70's.  You'd get the best of everything. But you get to see a big change in the world, you know!

Karma: What's your favorite drink?

Anthony: Water

Karma: Herbivore, omnivore or carnivore?

Anthony: Carnivore

Karma: What’s the first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning?

Anthony: My back hurts!

Karma: If you were stranded on a desert island, whom would you like to be marooned with?

Anthony: It has to be one person?

Karma: No, not at all.

Anthony: Then I guess I would say my family, my girlfriend, my dog.  [big grin]

Karma: Okay [smiles]

Anthony: I just got a dog!

Karma: Ohh!!

Anthony: I always hated dogs my whole life.

Karma: So what made you get one?

Anthony: My girlfriend [laughs] she wanted one so I ended up buying one for her and I miss him. I love him so much!

Karma: Now that's sweet, what kind of dog is it?

Anthony: An English Bulldog.  His name is Joey "Breadtruck" Martini!

Karma: [smiles] Now you'll have 1 MP3 CD for the soundtrack, who would make the cut?

Anthony: Oh, so I could have a ton of songs?

Karma: Yup!

Anthony: [laughs] You want me to go through all of the songs I'd put on there?

Karma: Well you'd have about 80 minutes worth.

Anthony: Wow, that's a lot of songs…[pauses] This is hard!  I'll give you 12 songs

Karma: Okay

Anthony: "Dear Mama" 2 Pac, "Ghetto Bastard" Naughty by Nature, I got to have some Jay-Z and since it's an MP3 CD I'd put
Blueprint on it,  I'd put Jay-Z's first album and the Black album, I'd put Tori Amos, Bruce Springsteen, I guess some Metallica too!  I guess that's good enough for me right now!  [laughs]

Karma: And whom would you ask these Speed Round of Questions of?

Anthony: [laughs] Why?  You gon' ask someone else these questions?

Karma: I usually do but I mix them up

Anthony: Oh, you're gonna be like,
"Hey, he said he wanted you to answer these questions…" [we both chuckle]…  I'm a bad interview right now, it's raining out and I'm depressed…  It can be anyone?

Karma: Live or dead

Anthony: Who do I even care about or want to know these things about?  Gandhi!!

Karma: Well thank you very much Anthony!  I really appreciate it!  And the best of luck to you throughout the tour!

Anthony: Well thank you very much!
