Like the mighty lyrics from “Guardians of Asgaard,” “No matter what they send at us. We will never left it fall!” Thus is true about the sons of the ever-popular Scandinavian metal being the hotbed of Pagan/Viking metal Sweden’s Amon Amarth and sit atop the throne of the current Viking Age! For a band to have worked as hard as they have, it’s so nice to see them getting their just deserts and recognition globally. This go round bassist Ted Lundström sat down with us as he discusses they band’s nod on the 2009 Wacken Open Air festival, the band’s mammoth new release and new video of Twilight of the Thunder God, and even learn how to pronounce those words in the songs themselves…
