No Warning’s performance Sunday was nothing short of amazing.  To be such a young band, they showed no nervousness; instead their set was full of energy from beginning to end.

This band of young lads came from Canada but play like they’re from upstate New York.  At the age of 15,  guitarist Matt Delong looked for a singer eventually finding vocalist Ben Cook.  In a short period of time, bassist Zach Amster, guitarist Jordan Posner and drummer Jesse Labovitz completed No Warning.

The band did a 7” on a small label out of Boston, and then released an EP called Ill Blood off the Bridge Nine Records label.  During that time, the band toured with such acts as Sick Of It All, The Cro-Mags, and Bane who they cited as a few of their influences.  Recently, No Warning was put on the Projekt Revolution tour, which is where they met Nu-Metal heavyweight Linkin Park.  Not long after that, the band decided to sign with the Linkin Park made label Machine Shop to distribute their second EP Suffer, Survive that was released this past Tuesday.

Even more remarkable is the bands dedication to hardcore as well as their “take no shit” attitude on stage.  It was clear that the guys have a passion for what they do and could care less if people enjoy the set or not.  The seemingly older and mature Sevendust crowd didn’t seem to like it especially since someone threw an object on stage that hit lead vocalist Ben Cook in the head.  Seemingly undisturbed, he went on then screamed,
“This is what rock and roll is about!”

In the interview Ben said there was no danger in rock ‘n’ roll anymore, that he challenges bands to live a little.  By the looks of it, No Warning lives more than a little and kicks everyone’s ass in the process!
